Derek Webb, CPA

Derek began Webb & Company, P.A. in 2003 with a focus on small to midsize publicly traded clients that were navigating the SEC framework. In these early years Derek concentrated on helping these companies maintain compliance through timely financial reporting. Over the years the practice has continued to grow and in late 2010 Derek expanded the firm's operations into a new office in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Derek has developed extensive knowledge of SEC registration and reporting requirements along with nearly 15 years of public accounting experience. In addition to public reporting requirements, Derek has developed a firm that provides Audit, Review and Compilation services along with tax compliance and various agreed upon procedures. Core industries served include: real estate, technology, not-for-profit, manufacturing, distribution, professional services, healthcare, as well as various development stage entities.

Derek earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and maintains CPA licensure through the State of Florida.

In his spare time Derek enjoys spending time with his wife Kim and their three children, Taylor, Morgan and Brandon.

Brian Sculthorpe, CPA

Brian has over 10 years of public accounting experience, including Audits, Reviews, Compilations, projections and tax compliance. Brian began his career with a small local accounting firm where he gained experience by performing audits in a variety of industries, including: governmental, pension plans, not-for-profits, residential construction, professional services, distribution and condominium associations. After five years Brian transitioned to a regional firm where he was exposed to PCAOB auditing standards and continued his career auditing companies in the manufacturing, distribution, internet development and private equity markets. These experiences eventually lead him to a Big 6 firm where he expanded his SEC experience through audits of large manufacturing and healthcare companies as well as REIT's.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a minor in Information Systems from Catawba College, located in Salisbury, North Carolina. Additionally, he completed graduate level course work at Florida Atlantic University and holds CPA licensure through the state of Florida.

After all the filing deadlines are met, Brian enjoys travelling with his wife Mandy, scuba diving and snow boarding.
